Three races in three weekends: The logistical challenge

In this video feature the massive transportation operation required to ensure that every team has its equipment on time in Japan, Malaysia and Australia is explained.

An incredibly tight schedule gets underway as the World Championship calls on Japan, Malaysia and Australia over the next three weekends consecutively, and with that a detailed logistical operation also comes into effect.

In this motogp.com video Dorna Sports’ Operations Director Carles Jorba talks through how the mass transportation of such a large volume of material essential to the smooth running of each GP takes place as large quantities of equipment are moved between venues.

Hundreds of haulage crates, 40 trucks and three chartered Boeing 747 aeroplanes have all been involved in transferring the Paddock from Europe to Asia and will continue to be used as the tight deadlines are met, and Carles explains the processes involved in the attached video.
