Eurosport France and Dorna Sports announce three-year contract extension

MotoGP™ rights holder Dorna Sports and Eurosport France have agreed on a three-year contract extension, meaning that the network will be the exclusive MotoGP™ broadcaster on French territory until the end of the 2017 season.

This new deal sees Eurosport France's MotoGP™ coverage improved with full live coverage of all sessions and races of the three World Championship classes on Eurosport and Eurosport 2, but also through the Eurosport website and mobile/tablet apps.

Eurosport Player will feature the ground-breaking MotoGP™ Multi-Feed coverage with a total of 7 channels, adding 4 OnBoard channels, a Helicopter feed, Live Tracking and Live Timing feeds to the regular programme feed.

Manel Arroyo, Managing Director of Dorna Sports, commented:

“We are delighted to extend our long partnership with Eurosport in France for another three seasons. We are particularly pleased that French fans of MotoGP™ will be able to watch more in-depth live coverage than ever before, with the well-known Eurosport team presenting live from the grid at almost all of the events each season.”

Arnaud Simon, Managing Director of Eurosport France, added:

“I'm pleased to bring such a great show exclusively to our subscribers for another three years. We'll be strengthening our partnership with Dorna Sports by deploying an ambitious coverage plan with MotoGP™.”
