Record-breaking Lorenzo on par with Agostini

Jorge Lorenzo’s record-breaking weekend in Mugello means he now has the same amount of premier-class podiums as Giacomo Agostini.

The Spaniards win at Mugello was the 88th time that he has stood on the podium since moving up to the MotoGP™ class in 2008. As shown in the table below, this is the same number of podium finishes in the premier-class as eight times world 500cc champion, Giacomo Agostini.
