Cortese: “I go home with a good feeling”

Sandro Cortese is pleased with the work he and his team put at the official Moto2™ test in Barcelona on Tuesday.

The Dynavolt Intact GP team has successfully finished the Moto2 test on Tuesday after the Catalunya Grand Prix. Although sun and rain alternated, Sandro Cortese was able to complete 71 laps and to collect useful data.

Following the seventh race of the season in Barcelona last Sunday, the crew of Intact GP remained at the Catalan track to take part on a one-day test on Tuesday.

At first it seemed as if the weather could be a problem. However, the phases between short showers and sunshine were always enough time for Sandro to be on the track and to ride a total of 71 laps. 336 test kilometres to try several things on the team's Kalex and to prepare for the next World Championship race following week in Assen (June 25 to 27).

Sandro Cortese: “It was a positive test, despite the rain today. We were able to try out a lot and we have improved again. I'm happy and I go home with a good feeling. I think it was a very successful week, besides the race, which I could not finish unfortunately. But we look ahead. The race is already forgotten and we look towards Assen.”
