Rabat: “We improved a lot the issues we’ve been having”

Reigning Moto2™ World champion Tito Rabat will head to Assen brimming with confidence after a successful private test at Aragon.

The two days in Aragon provided the ideal opportunity for Rabat to further refine the set up that took him to victory in Mugello and a podium finish last time out in Barcelona. The reigning Moto2 World Champion was consistently under the lap record on both days and now heads to the next race in Assen confident he can fight for his second win of the season.

Tito Rabat: “Yesterday and this morning I had a really good feeling with the bike and we improved a lot the issues we’ve been having with the front, but we still need to do the same on a race weekend, so there is still work to be done. Despite the wind my rhythm here was good and my lap times were quicker than I’ve ever done at Aragon before. This afternoon we tried a lot of things with the bike, many of which were very positive, so we’re in a good position and I’m now looking forward to Assen next week.”
