Pedrosa Blog: A very special weekend in Sachsenring

Pedrosa Blog: A very special weekend in Sachsenring

It’s a great feeling to write to you today after the good vibes we had this weekend, during which we managed to finish with a podium!

In his latest official blog for boxrepsol.com Dani Pedrosa gives us his verdict on the German GP:

Hi everybody,

It’s a great feeling to write to you today after the good vibes we had this weekend, during which we managed to finish our work with a podium. They were intense days because, even though the feelings were really good at the Sachsenring like I was saying, from tomorrow onwards we will be testing in Misano, with barely a break, and the physical effort will be demanding. The aim, of course, is to continue working on the bike. It’s clear that lately we’ve been able to move forward, but it’s important that we continue improving so that these results are repeated in the second half of the season.

I also wanted to take advantage of the blog to tell you that in Sachsenring I was able to spend some minutes with Dillon, a very special boy whom I had the chance to hang out with several times and of whom I’ve grown quite fond.

I met him in 2009 through the Make-A-Wish Foundation and since then, we see each other whenever the opportunity arises! Dillon has neurofibromatosis and the strength with which this young lad faces such a serious issue will never cease to amaze me. Every moment with him is truly emotional.

Thanks for coming to visit me Dillon! And, of course, thanks to his parents too, you’re an example for everyone.

Question of the week
After each GP, do you watch the race? How many times? Question from CR26

Hi CR26.

After each GP, when I’ve had time to rest, I always watch the race at least once, sometimes twice if I need to see something specific.

All the best,

Dani.
