Miller: “It was a disappointing way to end the weekend”

Australian Jack Miller crashed out of the Indianapolis GP after his best qualifying performance in MotoGP™ to date.

Starting from 16th on the grid, Miller had incredibly made his way up to 12th by the end of lap one. Involved in a scrap with several other riders, Miller lost a couple of positions as he struggled with the feel of his Open Honda, and this would cost him dear, as he eventually lost control and slid out.

Jack Miller: “It was a disappointing way to end a reasonable weekend, because we were pretty happy with how the bike was working but I ended up having a few problems during the race. It wasn’t quite what I wanted it to be. We can’t do anything about it now though, we just need to look forward to getting to Brno and working through the problems that we had in the race here.”
