Bastianini: “Kent will have more pressure on him”

Enea Bastianini is hoping that Moto3™ title rival Danny Kent will feel the pressure of racing at his home Grand Prix.

The Italian currently lies 45 points behind Kent in the standings after his fifth podium finish of the season at the Czech GP. In the last two rounds Enea has recovered 21 points on Kent, and he hopes that the extra pressure that comes from racing in front of your home fans will affect the British rider. Bastianini finished last years British GP in third.

Enea Bastianini: “Last year I loved the Silverstone track at first glance: after a good Qualifying I did a great race, going so close to the victory that the third place was like a bitter end… This year we will try to be competitive again, with the target of recovering more points in the standings on championship leader Kent. Danny will race at home and of course I expect that he will be very fast, but it must be said that he will have more pressure on him than usual; we will see if he can actually transform it into something positive. However, we will be there, ready to take advantage of every opportunity.”
