Leopard switch to KTM machinery

Leopard switch to KTM machinery

The 2016 Moto3™ season will see the Leopard Racing squad run as an official KTM team.

Leopard Moto 3 Team and KTM Factory Racing are pleased to announce an agreement which will see the Leopard Team utilize the KTM RC 250 from the start of the 2016 season with the three young talented riders:  Andrea Locatelli, Joan Mir and Fabio Quartararo.

Miodrag Kotur (Leopard Racing C.O.O): "We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce a technical partnership with KTM. They have shown good performances on track with the new chassis and it’s our goal to marry this motive force to Leopard Racing. It’s an honour and recognition of the work done these past few months with our Leopard Racing project. We look forward to forging a long-standing relationship with KTM. We would also like to thank HRC which has been so closely associated with Leopard Racing over the year, and for the joint success we have achieved together.”

Pit Beirer (KTM Motorsport Director): “It is strategically important for KTM Factory Racing to supply the Leopard Moto 3 Team in addition to the other teams. Leopard Racing is an impressive organization that has delivered competitive on-track performances for their first season. We are pleased to welcome them to the KTM Family and look forward to building a productive and successful relationship in the future.”
