Bradl: “We'll see how my Aprilia performs”

Fresh off a seventh place finish in Argentina, Stefan Bradl heads to round three with a new sense of determination.

Stefan Bradl faces a new challenge at round three of the MotoGP™ World Championship, the German encountering the Circuit of the Americas for the first time aboard an Aprilia. After his best ever finish with the Italian manufacturer in Argentina, Bradl is ready to face one of the most demanding tracks on the calendar. With 20 corners, COTA requires an exact and unique set up but Bradl enjoys riding it nevertheless.

In just two races, the 2016 RS-GP has already shown incredible potential and huge growth. But Aprilia’s goal for the first half of the year remains unchanged as they approach each practice session as a small test for the new machine. Each circuit therefore has its own testing schedule, removing rear vibrations a key issue to work on. COTA’s variety of corners will no doubt put both the RS-GP and Bradl through their paces.

Stefan Bradl: “The result at Termas gives us great motivation. Austin is completely different. The layout of the track is quite demanding in terms of setup. As always, we will try to improve session after session. I must say that I like the track and that I've had good results in Texas before. We'll see how my Aprilia performs here. For us every race is a debut and it gives us the chance to discover knew characteristics of the 2016 bike. The growth trend is encouraging and we need to keep going in this direction.”
