- Yamaha back in the game: In Le Mans, the factory Yamahas are back in the fight for the victory again.
- Dovi and Ducati competitive on day 1: Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo are competitive from the outset, something we don't normally see until qualifying and the race.
- Johann Zarco is ready to win: He has already demonstrated he is close and competitive, and will push to the maximum to be the winner and if not, he'll be fighting for the podium.
