Pol Espargaro will return to MotoGP action at the San Marino GP, once again replacing Maverick Viñales at Red Bull KTM Tech3.
Espargaro has already stepped in for Viñales at Silverstone and MotorLand Aragon this season, and will now make a third appearance aboard the RC16 at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Viñales continues his recovery and will sit out the Italian weekend, with the Spaniard hoping to be back on the bike in time for Spielberg.
Espargaro’s familiarity with both KTM machinery and the Tech3 squad makes him the natural choice to step in once again as the team heads to Misano for Round 14 of the 2026 MotoGP World Championship.
