Obviously Honda were extremely dominant once again, the third win for the V5 and the second of the season for Valentino Rossi. I think Vale learned from last week when he was beaten by his team-mate Ukawa and we saw a lot more control from him over the final few laps.

It was good to see the two strokes battling with the four strokes and Katoh in particular was very good to watch. Again the West Honda team were very impressive, especially Barros. Suzuki´s return to Michelin was very positive even though they were with last year´s tyres and I think that they will have a lot of possibilities when they are provided with the 2002 versions later this season.

Finally I think Biaggi made a huge mistake by ignoring his stop and go. Jacque rejoined the race in sixteenth after being pulled in for the same penalty and he ended the race in eleventh, so Max for sure has missed out on some valuable points.
