Repsol Honda extends its Teams World Championship lead

The Repsol Honda team has steadily extended its lead in the Teams World Championship by clinching another one-two in Le Mans, Rossi and Ukawa raising the team´s points total to 156. The West Honda Pons team lies in second position, with 74 points ; the gap between the two first teams has been increased to 82 points. Third is the Marlboro Yamaha team with Max Biaggi adding 16 points to his team´s points tally, allowing them to have a 4 points advantage over the Antena 3 Yamaha D´Antín.

Among the teams that have steadily progressed in the Teams World Championship´s table is the Proton Team KR, with Aoki scoring 10, and McWilliams 6. The team is now sixth, behind the Fortuna Honda Gresini squad and ahead of Telefonica Movistar Suzuki.

At the bottom of the table lies the MS Aprilia Racing crew with 18 points, the Pramac Honda team on 15 points and Kanemoto Racing on 10. Five of the twelve MotoGP teams have scored points in each of the four Grand Prix so far.
