Changes to the 125 grid in Brno

Some additional changes have been made to the final entry list for the 125cc Gauloises Grand Prix Ceske Republiky. The vacancy left in the CWF-Matteoni Racing team by Jarda Hules, who moves up to the 250 class for his home GP, is taken by Italian youngster Marco Simoncelli. The Italian Champion, who is currently lying second in the European Championship, lines up alongside Chaz Davies in what must surely be the youngest team ever in Grand Prix history with both riders aged just 15.

Elsewhere, Swiss youngster Thomas Luthi makes his second appearance of the season with the Elit Grand Prix team as a replacement for Jakub Smrz. Czech rider Smrz failed to recover from a leg injury in time to make his home race although he will be on hand to support his brother Matej, who rides as a wildcard. Nobby Ueda also misses out through injury and is replaced by Italian Dario Giuseppetti in the Semprucci Angaia Racing squad.
