Changes to the 250 grid in Brno

There will be several changes to the 250cc grid at Brno this weekend as the Grand Prix roundabout swings into life once more. The main news is that Czech rider Jaroslav `Jarda´ Hules steps up from the 125 class for his home race as a replacement for Taro Sekiguchi. Hules, who was absent from the CWF-Matteoni Racing team for the last two races, made his debut at the Brno circuit in 1993 and makes his first appearance on a quarter-litre machine after 84 starts in the minor class.

The other major change is in the DeGraaf Grand Prix Team, where Henk Van de Lagemaat replaces Dutch compatriot Jarno Janssen. Van de Lagemaat has been contesting the European Championship for four years and has two wildcard GP appearances to his name - at Assen in 1997 and 1999. These changes are added to several already announced, including David Garcia for Emilio Alzamora, Erwan Nigon for Vincent Phillipe and a wildcard appearance for German veteran Ralf Waldmann.
