Pre-season work continues at rapid pace for MotoGP teams

Today in Valencia was the scene of a lot more testing work for at least four teams readying to do battle in the 2003 MotoGP World Championship.
The season is but four weeks away and the intensity of the preparations before the show kicks off at Suzuka, Japan in the first weekend of April is set red-hot judging by the laps clocked in Spain this afternoon.
Decent weather conditions saw the track busy by about 10.30am as Camel Pons Honda, Team Suzuki, Telefonica Honda and Pramac Honda set about their development schedule. The Camel squad of Max Biaggi and Tohru Ukawa spent the majority of the day negotiating the Valencia curves decked out in their team´s new livery as did the factory Suzuki duo of John Hopkins and Kenny Roberts who clearly feel they still have a lot of progress to make with their 2003 four-stroke model. Sete Gibernau continued to get acquainted with his new Honda RCV at a venue where he previously won a GP in 2001.
