Quotes from some of the main protagonists of the day

Casey Stoner (4th): `I am very excited to be provisionally on the front row for the first time in 125. This morning we had some problems but the team knew how to solve them and in the qualifying session the bike felt good. We still have some improvements to make. I know I can ride much faster as I get used to this track and improve my lines. I also know myself and the team still have a lot of work to do as tomorrow if the weather is fine a lot of other riders will go faster.´

Youichi Ui (2nd): `I am a bit angry because I have not been able to keep pole at the end of the session, but I feel satisfied both with the feeling I got from the bike and with the hard work of my technical staff. My Aprilia is rather competitive but I stopped at the box to solve some small problems in the braking. I tried to make a change but when I came in the feeling was different so I could not go any faster.´

Jorge Lorenzo (3rd): ` From the first minute of practice I found a good style and feeling and made the most of the opportunity. The bike is a little better than in Jerez, but not so much as to ride from 20th to 3rd. I just found a really good rhythm today and that was the key. The team have worked a lot in the last few months and we deserve a result like this, even though it is only the first day and Sunday is much more important.´
