Fonsi Nieto, pole position:

"Today I was working only for the set-up of the bike. I knew my lap-time from yesterday would be good enough for a front row position. I am happy with my rhythm and I think that I can go for the win tomorrow; I need one!"

Manuel Poggiali, 2nd position:

"At the moment my head is not so good! I crashed once today because I was pushing too hard but the other time I didn't know why I fell. I am hopeful for a good race because my bike's setting is good."

Toni Elias, 3rd position:

"It will be a close race tomorrow. I found some solutions to the problems I had with the bike yesterday and this morning and finally I could make a speed to arrive on the front row. I did some decent times today with hard tyres and this is important. I will try to start well and hope to be in contention for a podium."

Naoki Matsudo, 4th position:

"The bike is in really good condition and I am trying hard to reach the front. At Assen I crashed but here for Donington I have a new machine and it has taken some time to discover the right settings."
