Words from the podium finishers in the 125cc GP at Estoril

Pablo Nieto, winner:

"That was a hard race! Hector is a good rider and was braking very hard and late on the last lap. I was just able to get by out of the final corner. Five years in Grand Prix has been a long time to wait for a win but I am really happy it has happened at last."

Hector Barbera, runner-up:

"I am happy with second place because we had a bad time trying to set-up the bike on Friday and also on Saturday. We changed things this morning, took a gamble and luckily it paid off. I want to say congratulations to Pablo and a big thank you. He kindly gave me a tyre that I did not have for the race and this helped me to get onto the podium."

Alex De Angelis, 3rd place:

"Again this has been an unlucky race for me. Part of the rear brake failed midway through the GP and it was difficult to ride fast; this stopped me fighting for the win today."
