Toni Elas (1st): "So far everything has gone perfectly but it is tomorrow that really counts. I hope everything goes as it did at Motegi and I will be fighting to make sure it does. It will be a tough race because Poggiali has a good set-up and he will be up there. You also have to consider De Puniet, Rolfo and Fonsi but it may be beneficial to have them in the group. One thing for sure is that I will run my own race."

Manuel Poggiali (2nd): "I set a good pace on race tyres although I did not get a fast lap in on qualifiers like Toni because I was held up. Tomorrow I will be going out to win, not to finish second. It will be a long hard race but I have a good chance and I am looking forward to it."

Fonsi Nieto (3rd) "Tomorrow I'll try and help Toni in the race if I can and if that is the case it will be good for me because that means I am at the front. He did it for me last year and it would be nice to return the favour but it will be difficult because he has a very strong rhythm."

Naoki Matsudo (4th): "I am pretty happy with the chassis but the engine is still way down on power. It will be difficult to go with the front group but I will try to get a good start and do my best."
