Suzuki duo content with preseason

With their excellent results in the past fortnight's official testing, along with their bright blue bikes, Suzuki have stood out in the final stretch of the preseason. Riders John Hopkins and Chris Vermeulen took time out at the Jerez Test to speak exclusively to motogp.com, in an interview in which they assessed the current state of play.

"There's been a lot of tests, both during preseason and the season itself, with a lot of work done. It's a nice difference that there's a lot of spectators too, I'm really enjoying myself," said Vermeulen after clocking the ninth fastest time at the Andalusian circuit.

Team-mate Hopkins commented on the progression of a GSV-R that saw steady improvement after electronic problems, culminating in his runner-up finish in the BMW M Award competition in Catalunya.

"We've gone to many tracks, and every time we've been somewhere near the top. We're just working really hard with Bridgestone to make sure that it happens for the race."
