Slight changes to be aware of in Motegi time schedule

Early hours to contend with plus there are some small changes to the running order for the Motul Grand Prix of Japan

Alarm clocks will need to be at the ready for MotoGP™’s European fans ahead of three-weeks of back-to-back races starting in Japan this weekend. When setting those alarm clocks, remember that all of the times below are GMT+9!

Plus, there are some slight alterations to the usual schedule we have for our European rounds with Moto2™ following all Moto3™ sessions on Friday and Saturday rather than MotoGP™ slotting in between as we have been used to seeing.

Therefore, on Friday, MotoGP™ will be out on track for the first time at 10:50 and will round out the day at 15:05 for FP2. On Saturday, the MotoGP™ grid will be set at the later time of 15:05 for Q1, followed by Q2 at 15:30.

There is also a slight change to Sunday’s schedule too, with all three races getting underway an hour later than normal. Lights will go out for the Moto3™ scrap at 12:00 before Moto2™ at 13:20 and the main event, the MotoGP™ race, at 15:00.
