In chronological order, here's our selection of FREE classic Rossi races for you to indulge:
1. Assen – 2015
Rossi vs Marquez 2.0 in 2015. Another win for The Doctor at the final corner on the final lap as he overcame Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez at the Cathedral of Speed.
2. Termas de Rio Hondo – 2015
Argentina hosted a stunner as different tyre strategies led to Rossi reeling in Marquez’ dominate lead in the final stages, with the duo clashing on the penultimate lap.
3. Assen - 2013
A return to the top step for Rossi in his first season back with Yamaha, a race in which Jorge Lorenzo also displayed one of the most heroic rides we've ever seen.
4. Catalunya – 2009
An unforgettable Rossi vs Lorenzo encounter. Another of the all-time MotoGP™ classics. The factory Yamaha teammates took it down to the final corner on the final lap in Barcelona.
5. Laguna Seca – 2008
Rossi vs Stoner. One of the greatest MotoGP™ battles of all time. The Italian and the Australian went toe-to-toe in a duel that will live long in the memory.
6. Welkom – 2004
After making the shock switch to Yamaha from Honda for the 2004 season onwards, Rossi took one of his most emotional victories of his career as he stood on the top step of the podium in his very first race for the Japanese factory.
7. Brno – 2003
It was a MotoGP™ Classic at the Czech Adrenaline Factory as Rossi and Sete Gibernau went head-to-head, with the Ducatis of Troy Bayliss and Loris Capirossi fighting at the front too.
8. Donington Park – 2000
The number 46’s first premier class win. After a terrible start from the front row in the wet, Rossi produced a masterclass in his rookie 500cc campaign.
9. Brno – 1997
The scene of Rossi’s maiden World Championship title. A classic lightweight class encounter in the Czech Republic saw the Italian crowned 1997 125cc Champion.
10. Brno – 1996
Rossi and the Automotodrom Brno have a glistening history, with the future nine-time World Champion claiming his first Grand Prix victory at the classic venue.
