SKY Racing Team VR46 have unveiled Marco Bezzecchi and Celestino Vietti’s Moto2™ machines, as well as Luca Marini’s MotoGP™ Ducati too.
Bezzecchi finished P4 in the intermediate class World Championship last season, as the Italian notched up two wins in his sophomore campaign. Heading into this year, Bezzecchi stands as one of the favourites for the crown. Alongside him for 2021 is rookie Vietti, who also won two races in 2020 in a stellar Moto3™ season. As always, it’s an exciting line-up in the VR46 ranks.
Marco Bezzecchi: “As every year I am always happy to return to the track after a long off season. I also met the team guys a few weeks ago in Tavullia, we are loaded and we can't wait to meet again in Qatar. Fingers crossed for the calendar, I'm sure we'il have a good time. With a lot of work we can take a step forward compared to last year, become more constant and be in the group of the strongest in every GP.”
Celestino Vietti: “I am waiting for this moment from the Jerez test, when I tried Moto2: I am happy because once again I will face a key moment in my career together with the guys from Sky Racing Team VR46. It will not be easy, there are many precautions to take into account compared to Moto3, but also a lot of power and speed to manage. In November I really enjoyed it and the sensations were more than positive. I want to start getting serious: work hard with the Team and continue to take the measures of the new category. The goal? Being able to get some good placements, but without haste.”
