Hot on the heels of the Styrian GP, the Red Bull Ring is preparing for a second consecutive round: the Bitci Motorrad Austrian Grand Prix, the eleventh event of the 2021 World Championship. After the fourth round of the year at Assen before the break, the FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup grid will be back in action. On Thursday 12th, from 15:00 (CET), the main stars of the class will claim the spotlight with a Press Conference featuring Alessandro Zaccone (Octo Pramac MotoE), Jordi Torres (Pons Racing 40), Eric Granado (One Energy Racing), Dominique Aegerter (Dynavolt Intact GP), Matteo Ferrari (Indonesian E-Racing Gresini MotoE) and Lukas Tulovic (Tech3 E-Racing).
From 17:00 (CET), it will be the turn of the MotoGP™ riders. On this occasion, Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), Johann Zarco (Pramac Racing), Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar), Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing), Marc Márquez (Repsol Honda Team) and Jorge Martín (Pramac Racing) will appear before the media.
The first taste of track action comes on Friday, with Moto3™ riders first up at 09:00 (CET) with the first Free Practice, followed by MotoGP™ at 09:55, Moto2™ at 10:55 and MotoE™ at 11:50. Following FP2, which the premier class will take on at 14:10, MotoE™ will bring the first day to a close, before the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup brings the curtain down on the action with qualifying at 17:35.
On Saturday the build-up continues with the final Free Practice and qualifying sessions. MotoE™ will resume at 08:15 (CET) before the rest of the classes get underway. From 12:35 the lightweight class start their qualifying. After MotoGP™ FP4 at 13:30, the premier class will battle for pole at 14:10, before Moto2™ takes over at 15:10 and MotoE™ at 16:10 for the E-Pole. This will be followed by the first Rookies Cup race of the weekend at 17:15.
The main event is on Sunday with four races. Moto3™ will kick off with the Warm Up at 08:40 (CET), followed by the Moto2™ and MotoGP™ sessions. The first race will be Moto3™ at 11:00, followed by Moto2™ at 12:20 and MotoGP™ at 14:00. After the main event, the on-track action will conclude with the MotoE™ and second Rookies Cup races at 15:30 and 16:30 respectively.
