MotoGP™ is back in action this coming weekend, with the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli playing host to the Gryfyn Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera. It’s set to be another blockbuster fixture in the 2022 campaign as Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati Lenovo Team) chases a fourth consecutive victory and continues to hunt down Fabio Quartararo (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP™) and Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing) in the title chase.
The weekend will also see a Champion crowned in MotoE™, with two races remaining to decide the fate of the FIM Enel World Cup. There’ll be plenty to keep you entertained across the weekend, so make sure you know what’s happening and when by checking out the time schedule below.
As per usual, Thursday is Press Conference day with the MotoE™ riders up first at 15:00 CET, before their premier class counterparts take to the stage at 17:00. Quartararo, Bagnaia and A. Espargaro will all be present to preview the weekend, before track action begins on Friday morning.
First up will be MotoE™ FP1 at 08:25, before Moto3™ at 09:00, MotoGP™ at 09:55 and then Moto2™ at 10:55. The FP2 sessions get under way at 12:35 with the electric class for 20 minutes, and the other categories following in the same order as the morning. After the conclusion of Moto2™ FP2 at 15:50, the grid for MotoE™ needs to be set, with qualifying beginning from 16:50.
Saturday’s fun gets underway with the final Free Practice sessions from 09:00 and conclude at 11:35, before the drama will kick up a notch with qualifying. Moto3™ are up first at 12:35. Once the lightweight class’ poleman is decided, MotoGP™ FP4 at 13:30 precedes their battle for pole at 14:10, while the intermediate class round out the final qualifying sessions at 15:10.
A new electric class Champion could be crowned on Saturday afternoon, with Race 1 seeing lights out at 16.25.
Warm Ups get Sunday off to a start from 09:00 before the real action begins. Moto3™ lights out is at 11:00, with Moto2™ the follow up act at 12:20. The main event of the weekend sees MotoGP™ launch at 14:00 before Race 2 in MotoE™ brings the San Marino GP to a close at 15:30.
