The Spanish Armada was in hot pursuit as Pedro Acosta (Red Bull KTM Ajo) and Alonso Lopez (Beta Tools SpeedUp) stayed within under two-tenths of the GASGAS rider.

Ai Ogura (IDEMITSU Honda Team Asia) is showing he's returning to the form we know he's capable of, bagging P4 after Friday practice. Sam Lowes (Elf MarcVDS Racing Team) rounded out the top 5 ahead of Albert Arenas (Red Bull KTM Ajo) in P6.
Championship leader Tony Arbolino (Elf MarcVDS Racing Team) has some work to do ahead of Sunday. The Italian kicks off Assen in a distant P9 and will be looking for some big steps forward ahead of Sunday's Grand Prix.
Moto2™ will be back in action on Saturday for Practice 3 at 9:25 and qualifying at 13:45 local (GMT +2).
