Revealed! The official poster for the San Marino GP!

Aldo Drudi has designed the artwork for the official poster for this year’s Gran Premio Red Bull di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini.

The poster for the 2023 Gran Premio Red Bull di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini has been revealed, with legendary Italian Aldo Drudi behind the design.
The event, set to be held from 8th-10th September at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, has also gained a new title sponsor: Red Bull.

“This will be a global involvement where Red Bull, along with the promoters, will be an active participant in a territorial marketing project that aims to showcase the virtuous connection between a place, the Riders' Land, and its riders to the world,” read a statement issued by the circuit.

"The partnership with Red Bull as the title sponsor,” said promoters, the Republic of San Marino, the Emilia-Romagna Region, the Province of Rimini, and Santa Monica SpA, “represents significant added value for all of us. When we embarked on this great adventure, we saw it as a challenge to transform a sporting event into a lever for territorial marketing, where communication played and still plays a fundamental role.

“Having Red Bull by our side, representing the cutting edge in this field, allows us to upgrade the promotion of our entire territory. For this reason, together with Dorna and Red Bull, we have devised a three-year development plan that places Misano World Circuit and the tourist economy of the Republic of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera at the centre of the project."

The new title sponsor played a part in the design of the poster. As Aldo Drudi of Drudi performance stated, "We had a lot of fun creating this poster and we are very satisfied with the result. The opportunity was fantastic: we wanted to combine Red Bull, a brand that has a big and recognized communication power, with the work we have been doing in the last years, since we’ve worked on the artistic aspect of the Grand Prix.

“However, combining two established and winning images also represented a risk. We started considering some possibilities and they magically aligned when we decided to place the Red Bull elements and the silhouettes of the riders on the graphic pattern that we have been using for the last years to personalize the circuit’s track—a texture that makes it unique and has allowed us to stand out worldwide.

“We also adjusted the colors to match Red Bull's brand elements, which, coincidentally, evoke the sun, the sea, and the sky. This way, we have once again managed to contextualize the Grand Prix on Riviera di Rimini and San Marino."
