Round 6 of the FIM MotoJunior World Championship delivered title drama, incredible racing and crowned our first Champion of 2026. We also saw first-time winners as MotorLand Aragon continued to deliver the goods on Sunday afternoon – building tension for the season finale next month!
Moto3 Junior World Championship
Carlos Cano (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) took the opening win of the weekend in Race 1, holding off an impressive late charge from Kiandra Ramadhipa (Honda Asia-Dream Racing Junior Team).
The Indonesian rider did everything he could to beat Cano to the line, but missed out on victory by just 0.037s, with Giulio Pugliese (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) completing the podium.
With a 49-point championship lead heading into Race 2, Cano had his first real opportunity to wrap up the 2026 Moto3 Junior World Championship. Yaroslav Karpushin sat second in the standings, with Pugliese 52 points behind Cano in third.
Cano was denied the title as Fernando Bujosa (AC Racing Team) bounced back from crashing out of the lead in Race 1 to claim his maiden victory in Race 2, ahead of Pugliese and Karpushin.
With Cano finishing down in P5, Pugliese moved narrowly ahead of Karpushin into second in the standings, while the championship fight will now go down to the final two races at Misano.
Moto2 European Championship
Alessandro Morosi (EAGLE-1) secured his first win in dramatic fashion at MotorLand Aragon, winning Race 1 by 0.137s. The Italian was consistent throughout, beating Harrison Voight (CARDOSO RACING), who earned his second consecutive podium following another stunning ride.
Unai Orradre (Momoven Racing) completed the Race 1 podium, finishing third and reducing Milan Pawelec’s (AGR Team) Championship lead in the process. Pawelec retired from Race 1 due to technical issues, leaving everything to play for in Race 2.
In Race 2, Pawelec’s moment in the spotlight arrived as the #44 became the 2026 Moto2 European Champion. The Polish star also became the first back-to-back Moto2 European Champion since Jordi Torres in 2012 – adding his name to the history books.
Following behind and fighting hard in the closing laps was Momoven Racing’s Unai Orradre, who was unable to keep his title hopes rolling into Misano. Jacob Roulstone (Team Ciatti – Boscoscuro) claimed third after Harrison Voight was handed a drop-one-position penalty for exceeding track limits on the final lap.
Momoven Moto4 European Cup
Lorenzo Pritelli (Team Echovit Pasini Racing) converted pole position into a breathtaking victory at MotorLand Aragon. The #67 snatched victory by 0.026s and, most importantly, carried his Championship aspirations into Misano.
Alvaro Lucas (CFMOTO Aspar Junior Team) crossed the chequered flag in P5, fighting throughout and missing out on victory by a mere 0.205s. Lucas’ title lead sits at 22 points with just one race remaining in 2026.
Mateo Marulanda (AC Racing Team) took an emotional second-place finish, leaving Edoardo Savino (Leopard Racing) to round off the podium – clinching third.
Stock European Championship
Although Jacobo Hinojosa (Futurotel Face Racing) crossed the line first in Aragon, a three-second penalty for overtaking under yellow flags dropped the Spaniard down the order. David Jimenez (MDR Competicion) was also disqualified after finishing second following a technical infringement, promoting Jacopo Cretaro (Zivimotor) to the race victory.
Hinojosa was classified fifth after the penalty, while Lorenzo Fellon (SF Racing), who had finished fourth on the road, was promoted to second.
Fellon now heads into the final round at Misano 18 points behind title rival Yeray Ruiz (Team Honda Laglisse FPS). Ruiz ran into trouble at Turn 12 on Lap 7, dropping to 13th before recovering to ninth on the road and later being promoted to eighth.
