Swiss talent Giulian Pedone made his World Championship debut in 2011 for the Phonica Racing team, riding alongside the experienced Simone Grotzkyj and fellow rookie Taylor Mackenzie.

Pedone arrived in the World Championship with four seasons of experience in the German 125 championship and the ADAC Junior Cup behind him, and in 2011 tested his abilities on the World Championship stage on board an Aprilia RSW 125. He continues to partner Simone Grotzkyj in the team under the guise of Ambrogio Next Racing.
