European Champion on an Aprilia 250 in 1995, Luca Boscoscuro has been a MotoGP regular since 1996. Despite the disadvantage of always riding on a “kit” bike, Luca has always competed with factory riders on the track. Although he hasn’t yet made the podium – his best placing so far was 6th placed finishes in France and Germany in ’96 - he is considered to be one of the most consistent 250 riders. Well-liked in the paddock for his honest character, Boscoscuro’s success ahd been largely thanks to his brothers who are huge motorcycling fans and initially sponsored the young Italian in the early stages of his career. Luca’s ambition is to get the chance to ride a factory bike and demonstrate to the world the extent of his undoubted talent.
