Liqui Moly Teruel Grand Prix schedule: Sunday changes!

Find out all the details on the schedule for the second Aragon instalment as MotoGP™ race before Moto2™ this weekend

The MotoGP™ Championship is back in action this weekend as we get set to complete another 2020 triple header with MotorLand Aragon the destination once again. This time though, it’s the turn of the Liqui Moly Gran Premio de Teruel.

Following another pulsating race in the Aragon GP, Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) became the eighth different winner in eight races and riders will be licking their lips at the opportunity of adding their name to the list of victors this season. The weekend’s festivities kick off on Thursday 22nd, with the pre-event Press Conference at 17:00 local time (GMT+2) before track action begins on Friday morning. Moto3™ gets underway at 10:00 for Free Practice 1, with MotoGP™ following them at 10:55 before Moto2™ complete the morning action at 12:35. The lightweight class kick-off the afternoon runs at 13:35 for FP2, with MotoGP™ out for their 45-minute session at 14:30, and once again Moto2™ follows for their 40-minute FP2 at 15:30.

The Red Bull Rookies Cup made a welcome return and they will see further action this weekend, concluding both the morning and afternoon sessions with Free Practice. That isn’t all the action on Friday however, as the Rookies Cup qualifying is pencilled in for 17:55.

Saturday begins with FP3 for all three classes at 10:00 and ending at 12:35. Then, after a short break for lunch, Moto3™ qualifying is at 13:15, and before the dust has time to settle the premier class are on the track once more for their final Free Practice session at 14:10.

 

The battle for pole begins at 14:50 for MotoGP™ and it is swiftly followed by Moto2™ qualifying at 15:50. The Rookies Cup will conclude the day’s action, as Race 1 gets underway at 17:10, with Race 2 scheduled for Sunday at 16:00.

Then Sunday sees a feast of action with Warm Ups underway at 09:20 (GMT+1). Lights out for Moto3™ will be at 11:20 in Moto3™. MotoGP™ is the next race underway at 13:00, a slightly earlier time than the previous week’s action, while Moto2™ concludes the day for the Grand Prix circus.
