Zarco tops the FP4 timesheets ahead of qualifying

The Frenchman took P1 ahead of last week's race winner Maverick Viñales and World Champion Joan Mir

Pramac Racing’s Johann Zarco finished top of the timesheets following Saturday’s FP4 session at Losail International Circuit. The Frenchman recorded a 1:54.543 which meant he had more than a tenth to spare over his closest rival, Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) in P2.

Perhaps a sign of things to come in Q1, World Champion Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) placed third as he too dipped into the 1:54s. It proved a relatively incident-free run out for the riders with the exception of Stefan Bradl (Repsol Honda Team) who hit the deck, but thankfully it was rider ok and he will be seen back in the saddle for Q2.

Can anyone stop the Bologna bullets from taking pole? Make sure you tune in for qualifying to find out at 20:00 local time (GMT +3).
