Martin leads a who's who of Championship contenders in FP1

Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) topped FP1 at the Motul TT Assen, the only rider to get into the 1:42 bracket with a late charge. Championship rival and points leader Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) was P2, ahead of the best start for a weekend this season for Scotsman John McPhee (CIP - Green Power). The who's who in the title fight continued in fourth with Aron Canet (Estrella Galicia 0,0) threatening early on Friday, ahead of Catalan GP winner Enea Bastianini (Leopard Racing), who locked out the top five.
