From today until the 20th of July, riders from across Asia and Oceania can apply to join the next generation of rising stars. This is your chance to take the first step on the Road to MotoGP™.

The Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup gives young riders the opportunity to race on equal machinery and showcase their talent at some of the biggest motorcycle racing events in the world. Every competitor rides the Honda NSF250R Moto3™ machine, ensuring it’s not about the bike – it’s about the rider.

With ATC alumni now winning races and fighting for titles in Moto2™ and Moto3™, the path has never been clearer. In 2025, two former Asia Talent Cup riders – Somkiat Chantra and Ai Ogura – made their debut in MotoGP™. It starts here.

Enrolment and selection
Registration is now open at www.asiatalentcup.com  and runs until 20th July 2025.

Once your application is submitted, every rider profile will be reviewed by an expert panel. The most promising applicants will be invited to the Selection Event at Sepang International Kart Circuit on the 22nd of October 2025. There, riders will be evaluated on and off the bike, and those who impress the most will be chosen to join the 2026 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup and take the next step on the Road to MotoGP™.

Important information

There’s no need for prior experience in circuit racing. Dirt track, MiniGP, motocross, or scooter competition – all are welcome. What matters most is talent, potential, and the mindset to improve.

Applicants must be born between the 1st of January 2005 and the 15th of February 2012.

The list of those chosen to attend the Selection Event will be published on the 18th of August 2025.
