Swiss rider Jesko Raffin won the 2014 FIM CEV Repsol Moto2™ championship in style under the management of Sito Pons, scoring six race wins in 10 races on his way to the title. Those performances earned him a full-time ride with the SAG Team in the 2015 Moto2™ World Championship. Having made his name racing domestically in Germany, Raffin made three Grand Prix appearances for GP Team Switzerland in 2012 in the intermediate class and in 2015 season he had the chance to show his ability in Moto2™ on a regular basis, and again in 2016. After a year of progress and points scoring, including a top ten in Germany, Raffin moved to Garage Plus Interwetten Interwetten for 2017. He had a number of point-scoring finishes and a best of fourth at Phillip Island, but then he moved back to the CEV for 2018. From the off he was the favourite and the man to be caught, pulling out an early advantage and taking three of the first four wins of the year on his way to taking the crown for the second time. He also raced for the SAG team in the Moto2™ World Championship once again from Misano on, taking a number of point-scoring finishes including another impressive result in Australia as he took P8. He moved to MotoE™ for 2019 with the Dynavolt Intact GP team, scoring a best of P4 at Misano. Raffin also competed in eight Moto2™ races in 2019 with NTS RW Racing GP, replacing Steven Odendaal at the beginning and end of the year. After some promising performances, the Swiss rider shapes up for a full time ride with the team in 2020.
