After winning the WorldSSP title in 2011, and having participated in the 125cc World Championship, 250cc World Championship and in MotoGP™, Chaz Davies would made the jump to WorldSBK in 2012. From there, the British rider became one of the biggest stars in World Superbikes and after ending his debut season P9 overall, Davies finished inside the top five in his sophomore season. In 2014 he signed for the factory Ducati team and ended the season in sixth position, but that was just the beginning. The Welshman would go on to achieve 25 victories and 44 podium finishes with the Bologna factory and in 2015 Davies claimed runner-up in the Championship after five victories and 18 podiums. In 2017 and 2018 Davies was runner-up again, but at the end of 2020, Davies lost his ride at Ducati and joined Team GOELEVEN for 2021. Davies announced his retirement at the end of that season but for 2024, the 37-year-old comes out of retirement to give MotoE™ a crack with Aruba Cloud MotoE™ Racing Team.
