Spanish rookie Fermin Aldeguer (OpenBank Aspar Team) ended Free Practice at the Monster Energy Grand Prix of Catalunya as the fastest rider in MotoE™. The 16-year-old continues to impress in the electric class, recording a time of 1:50.399 to take FP3 top spot honours ahead of Eric Granado (One Energy Racing).
The Brazilian was just seven-hundredths off the lead and has positioned himself strongly ahead of E-Pole later in the day, while reigning Cup Champion Jordi Torres (Pons Racing 40) completes the top three, after Lukas Tulovic (Tech 3 E-Racing) saw his best lap time cancelled.
Colombian rookie Yonny Hernandez (Octo Pramac MotoE) sits fourth ahead of Miquel Pons (LCR E-Team) with both men benefitting from cancelled lap times to move up the timesheets.
There’s plenty more action to come today in the electric class, E-Pole kicking off at 16.10 (CET).
