Le Mans welcomes the FIM CEV Repsol

The Moto3™ Junior World Championship riders will once again have the opportunity to race at a World Championship venue: the legendary Bugatti circuit of Le Mans, coinciding this weekend with the MotoGP™ World Championship HJC Helmets Grand Prix de France.

Raúl Fernández (Angel Nieto Team) arrives in Le Mans as leader of the overall standings with 58 points after his victory in the second race of Valencia, and chalking up two podiums in three races. Manuel Pagliani (Leopard Junior) is 10 points behind in second position. Third place is held by Yuki Kunii (Asia Talent Team) with 37 points while Somkiat Chantra (AP Honda Racing Team) is fourth on 28 points, three more than Sergio García (Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0.0) who unfortunately will not be racing in Le Mans after a serious fall in the second race in Valencia resulted in a broken femur. Sergio García started well on Sunday at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, winning the first race, but things took a turn for the worse in his second outing.

This weekend's round at the HJC Helmets French Grand Prix will be a good way to test out the riders as Le Mans the track is very demanding and the least well known of all FIM CEV Repsol venues: it is only visited once a year and the only race run is in Moto3™. It will be the first time at the track for riders like the Öncu brothers, Can and Deniz, (Red Bull KTM Ajo), who rode brilliantly at the Red Bull Rookies Cup in Jerez. Also in the previous Red Bull Grand Prix of Spain, Jeremy Alcoba (Junior Team Estrella Galicia 0.0) and Ai Ogura (Asia Talent Team) took part as wildcard riders, and will surely arrive in France full of confidence having recently competed in a MotoGP™ World Championship event.
The first qualifying session will be on Friday from 12.00 to 12.50 and the second from 16.05 to 16.55 to sort out the grid for this third round of the Moto3™ JWC.

The FIM CEV Repsol's TV presence continues to grow in both Europe and the rest of the world. In Spain, Movistar MotoGP will broadcast live the Moto3™ JWC race, as will BT Sport in the United Kingdom and Ireland. In Italy, Sky will also broadcast the race live. Eurosport, through Eurosportplayer (France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Romania), will also offer live coverage of the Moto3™ JWC race. In Portugal, Sport TV continues its commitment to motorcycling by broadcasting the race live.

Fans in Latin America, the United States, Canada and France will be able to watch a recorded version of the Moto3™ JWC race through Motosport TV, while their OTT will broadcast the race live. Band Sports television extends its coverage of the FIM CEV Repsol by showing a recorded version of the race, just as OSN that will broadcast the race deferred in the Middle East area. Also joining TV coverage of the championship, the Edgesport Channel will air the Moto3™ Junior World Championship race live, as well as being available 24/7 on various platforms with coverage in Abu Dhabi, Belgium, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Mongolia, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Papua New Guinea, Pacific Islands, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Solomon Island, Thailand and Vietnam.

In addition, for those countries without television coverage, the race will be broadcast live on the championships YouTube channel.
