After several weeks locked up at home, thankfully we’re slowly but surely getting back to some sort of normality. For MotoGP™ riders, at long last they’re able to hop onboard bikes, motocross, supermotard and reacclimatise themselves with speed as everybody gears up for the opening round in Jerez.
Lockdown has allowed some of your favourite riders, however, to discover some unsuspected talents such as painting or drawing. Don’t believe us? Well, feast your eyes on these creations by Moto3™ World Championship leader Albert Arenas (Aspar Team Gaviota).

Other second jobs that have been picked up over the past few months include Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) opening his own home barbershop in Cervera.
We’ve also been treated to a flavour of music by some of MotoGP™’s finest budding musicians. Johann Zarco (Reale Avintia Racing) we already knew was quite gifted on the piano, but now the Frenchman is attacking the guitar.
Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing) is not doing too bad either. However, on the side, Maverick Viñales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) still has plenty of work to do if he wants to headline Glastonbury once his Grand Prix career comes to an end. He might be able to add Franco Morbidelli (Petronas Yamaha SRT) to his band after the Italian decided to try his hand at the harmonica.

Zarco, Marquez and, in particular, Danilo Petrucci (Ducati Team) have taken advantage of the three months of forced rest to take care of their garden; a task that they usually have no time to devote to.
Some of them seemed more comfortable in the kitchen like Bagnaia, Joan Mir (Team Suzuki Ecstar) or Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech3), with the Portuguese rider showing off his culinary skills in the first episode of a new series on MotoGP™’s YouTube channel – A Day In The Life With.
Thankfully, all of these second jobs will have to be put on hold for now with the return of MotoGP™ drawing closer by the day. All focus has now has switched to their primary jobs: becoming World Champion.
