On Wednesday the 29th of October, the CIP Green Power team posted the positive news the whole MotoGP community was waiting to hear: Noah Dettwiler's condition had gone from critical to stable.. A further update on Friday added even more good news, confirming the Swiss rider had not only been moved from intensive care to a private clinic in Kuala Lumpur, but was also now awake and communicating with his family and doctors.
Here's the full update:
The Swiss rider was involved in a pre-race incident on the sighting lap with reigning Moto3™ Champion Jose Antonio Rueda (Red Bull KTM Ajo) that saw both riders taken to hospital via medical helicopter. Rueda was confirmed as alert and awake later on Sunday, with a fracture in his hand and a number of contusions. Since, he transferred hospital and has now returned home to Spain, too.
