Leopard Racing’s Guido Pini has topped the timesheets at a rain-soaked Autodromo Internacional do Algarve, as the Moto3 field get their 2026 pre-season campaigns up and running in far from ideal conditions.
Two days of official test action took place in Portimao on Monday and Tuesday this week, but unfortunately, zero dry track time was enjoyed. In the wet weather, David Almansa (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) and Joel Esteban (LEVELUP-MTA) completed the top three on Day 2, with the Spaniards 0.3s and 0.8s away from Pini’s best - a 2:01.242.
We're not on track, but we’re still working! 👊🏼😉

The Moto3 grid will now make the relatively short journey to Jerez, where two final days of pre-season testing await on the 14th and 15th of February.
Next up in Portimao: two days of Moto2 pre-season testing on Wednesday and Thursday.
