Broc Parkes is Australia’s sole representative on the MotoGP™ grid in 2014. The New South Wales rider, who now resides in Andorra, discovered his desire to race as a four-year-old after watching MotoGP™ Legend and compatriot Wayne Gardner. He made a single World Championship 125 wildcard outing at Phillip Island in 1999, but is perhaps best known for racing in the Eni FIM Superbike World Championship. He is also a double runner-up in the World Supersport Championship, in 2004 and 2007 respectively. He makes his MotoGP™ debut this year, racing the in-house PBM motorcycle alongside Northern Ireland’s Michael Laverty.
