Valencian Vicente Perez came through the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3™ Junior World Championship, putting in some appearances before a full campaign in 2015. He scored 15 points before doubling that total the following season. 2016 also saw Perez make his Moto3™ World Championship debut in the season finale in Valencia. The following season he took another step forward in the CEV and took his first podiums - three of them - ending the year fourth overall, and he wildcarded twice more in Moto3™, in Jerez and Catalunya. He then began the 2018 CEV season on the podium and did half the season, but then he got the call up as a replacement rider for the Reale Avintia Academy 77 team on the world stage and he made the switch. After a best result of sixth at Buriram, he'll be gunning for more consistency and progress in 2019 as he remains in the Moto3™ World Championship and the Reale Avintia Academy team.
