TIME SCHEDULE: Grand Prix of Hungary

Stay in the loop this weekend as MotoGP touches down at Batalon Park for Round 8 of the season!

Following an unforgettable showing in Italy, MotoGP arrives at beautiful Balaton Park to write the next chapter of this incredible season. The Grand Prix of Hungary is ready to take the spotlight, with a busy schedule in store – both for teams and the riders. From a flat-out Media Day to another incredible Sunday battle, check out everything we have in store this weekend.

THURSDAY: MEDIA DAY BEGINS

We start the weekend (as tradition) with MotoGP GearUp, joining Jack Appleyard and Louis Suddaby for company as they bring you up to speed with the latest ongoings from 15:30 Local Time (UTC +2). Then it’s straight over to the Press Conference where you can hear from Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia Racing), Marc Marquez (Ducati Lenovo Team) and Ai Ogura (Trackhouse MotoGP Team) as they speak to the world’s media ahead of a fantastic weekend!

FRIDAY: HUNGARIAN GP ACTION IS GO

We kick off our weekend at 09:00 on Friday, with Moto3 heading onto the circuit for their opening session of the weekend. It’s Moto2’s turn at 09:50 before MotoGP hits the track for the first time at 10:45 for FP1. Then, after a short break, action resumes at 13:15, with the Moto3 field beginning an important Practice session ahead of Moto2 at 14:05. Finally, the premier class rounds out the day’s action at 15:00 as MotoGP Practice gets underway to decide the direct Q2 spots.

SATURDAY: QUALIFYING AND SPRINT

‘Super Saturday’ begins slightly earlier with Moto3 FP2 at 08:40 before Moto2 enjoy their session at 09:25. After that, MotoGP will enjoy their FP2 session at 10:10 before it’s time to set the grid as qualifying gets underway from 10:50. Following a short bite of lunch, the Moto3 grid will fight for pole position from 12:45 ahead of Moto2’s qualifying at 13:40. And that’s not all to look forward to, with lights out for the MotoGP Tissot Sprint at 15:00, starting our first racing action of the weekend.

SUNDAY: LIGHTS OUT AT BALATON!

MotoGP Warm Up gets you ready on Sunday morning, beginning the track action at 09:40 before it’s time to go racing! Moto3 are first up for 20 laps of Balaton Park at 11:00 ahead of Moto2’s thrilling Hungarian thriller at 12:15. Then it’s time for the main event, with the Grand Prix of Hungary getting underway at our usual time of 13:00 for 27 laps! Afterwards, join us for some in-depth analysis in After the Flag before the Post-GP Press Conference begins – where you can hear from the top three.
