Red Bull KTM Factory Racing didn’t have much wet weather data to set up for the San Marino GP, but both riders made it to the end of the race to score yet more points in the Austrian factory’s debut season: Bradley Smith in P10 and Pol Espargaro in P11.
It was Espargaro’s seventh points finish of the season as the Spaniard continues to impress, and felt he’d given it his all – refocusing on some more testing ahead of the Aragon GP.

Pol Espargaro, P11: “I think I tried everything! Out on track the conditions were similar to the warm up, but this track doesn't give much grip on the rear wheel when it's wet. In the dry we were not far away at all but with only 20 minutes this morning in the wet we hardly had much data going into a 28 lap race. I ended up doing everything I could during the race...there was nothing more! Luckily we have time to test new things for Aragon and hopefully in the next wet race I can do a little bit better.”
