Pol Espargaro (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing) will be forced to sit out the upcoming test at Chang International Circuit in Thailand, with complications likely following a crash at the Sepang test.

The Spaniard suffered what KTM refer to as a ‘hernia in L4’. That’s his fourth lumbar vertebra, and Espargaro has already undergone successful surgery at the Hospital Universitario Quirón Dexeus in Barcelona.
