Arenas undergoes successful surgery

Spaniard recovering and looking to get back to racing soon

Albert Arenas (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) had a tough start to the season when he fell in Warm Up for the Qatar GP, fracturing his collarbone and subsequently unable to compete.

On the 21st March, the Spaniard underwent successful surgery on the injury at the Hospital Universitaria Quiron Dexeus in Barcelona. Dr Xavier Mir carried out the operation, in which a plate and eight screws were used to fix the broken collarbone. Kept in overnight, Arenas will now be able to start rehabilitation in a few days.
