Time schedule UPDATE: Australian GP

The Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix plays host to the second of three back-to-back flyaway races and that means one thing: it’s time to set your alarm clocks and stock the cupboards with coffee.

The MotoGP™ World Championship may have been won by Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda Team) in Japan, but with the pressure off and nothing to lose, the battle on the Island is set to be fierce – and you don’t want to miss any of it. Plus, it’s all to play for in the Moto2™ and Moto3™ Championships!

FRIDAY UPDATE: Due to delays in Moto3™ FP1, Friday sees a changed timetable. Moto3™ starts at 12:20 (GMT +11) local for 30 minutes, before Moto2™ will get underway for a 40-minute session at 13:00, with the premier class heading out for FP1 at 13:50 local time. FP2 for the lightweight class then kicks off straight away at 14:45 local time, Moto2™ at 15:30 with MotoGP™ FP2 kicking off at 16:20 for a 45-minute session. 

Qualifying kicks off with Moto3™ at 13:35 local time, followed by the intermediate class at 14:30, with the MotoGP™ Q1 kicking off at 16:10 local time (06:10 BST).

Race day follows the same pattern as usual: Moto3™ - Moto2™ - MotoGP™, but with a later time schedule. 13:00 local time is the Moto3™ race, Moto2™ go racing at 14:20, with the MotoGP™ class going into battle at 16:00 local time.

And remember, if you’re in Europe, the clocks go back early Sunday morning!
